Seafood is one of the most appreciated and loved types of cuisines across the globe. In all parts of the world, it is prepared and cooked in particular manners and appreciated equally throughout due to the taste and different flavor it has to offer. Seafood is considered to be a large set of animals in the overall kingdom as well. They all belong to the Phylum Chordate and depending upon their structures and particular habitat are further divided into sub-phylum, groups, classes, orders, families and species.
Seafood has a relatively broader classification and for the normal usage, we divide it into crustaceans and mollusks. There are fishes that are finned and divided into several other subtypes such as halibut, salmon, tuna, white anchovies, eel, codfish, catfish, mackerel and pallock etc. No matter what it is that you are including in your diet as seafood, you need to make sure that the temperature to which you are using it is consistent and deliberate. You need to keep the seafood chilled and cold because they are extremely sensitive to the temperature changes and fluctuations. You should always cook seafood in a good manner as well; never cook fish on extreme heat or otherwise it would be overcooked and the flavors would be completely lost and gone. You should also never buy them from the roadside fish mongers for they often sell cheap and low quality fish which is not healthy at all.
Fishes are great when it comes to cooking and preparing them in a certain manner. You can use salmon with herbs and different spices and it would taste delicious. Smoked salmon would be really good if you consume it with salads and if you want, you can also marinate it with several cultural spices and make a fry recipe. The same goes for herring; you can steam, roast, fry or bake it depending upon the taste you like and the way it tastes good to you. In order to get the best of marination, you can put deep cuts into the fish while preparing it so the spices penetrate deep in properly.
Except fishes, people like consuming crabs, lobsters, shrimps, crayfish and barnacles as well. But these require extra care and measurements before you could consume them. There are only a few varieties of crabs that are edible but lobsters and shrimps are everyone’s favorite in any form.
